  • wxDC (All OS) wxDC beta 0.93 file released: wxDC_0.930_bin_msw.zip

-- 0.93 -- * GOT IT TO RUN IN LINUX USING wxGTK! * Fixed problem where downloading the public hub list sometimes causes all connections to timeout * Fixed problem where opening a hub connection rarely caused an access violation to a null pointer * Fixed loading issue of favorite hubs. sometimes it would have an error reading the file, then on application exit, it would overwrite the favorites to nothing * Fixed minor GUI functionality twirps that noone probably ever noticed * Some code re-organization for design improvements and readability * Fixed wxYield() recursion assertions * Now supports the saving and loading of download queues automatically so that your queues are always preserved * Added simple about box * File resuming now supported * Search results now support sorting in all columns * User lists now support sorting in all columns (ops sort first in a name sort) * Added DC++ style description tags to MyINFO command. Many hubs were disconnecting wxDC just for not having it! * Fixed the "appearance" settings so that they take effect immediately, rather than on restart -- 0.921 -- * Fixed search crash * Fixes strange parse error in private messages * Added drop down menu to transfers * Fixed small/misc. flaws dealing with opening and closing tabs -- 0.92 -- * Added Away Mode functionality * Added next/prev/close buttons for tabs! Now you can close your hubs and any other window! * Added drop down menu for download queue and support for multiple selection * Added multiple selection support for search list, and enabled the two menu functions that previously did nothing (Download, Download To...) * Added check against opening two hubs of identical address. * Improved updating of operator icons in user lists -- 0.91 -- * Added tab icons for all tabs to indicate what type of page it is, and if there is new information (messages, browse lists...) on it that the user hasnt seen yet. * Added user icons to indicate ops and passive users * Added global 10 element history to text boxes! * Added password prompt in case you dont have your password entered in the settings, or you provide a bad pass and the hub lets you have another chance NOTE: With the additions of tab icons mentioned above, you can know when and where new messages and activity takes place. This makes the program much friendlier to use than before and it looks a lot better. -- 0.90 -- * Added UI configuration to change back/forecolor and font size/type/style * Transfers added, but currently only uploads have resume support * Download queue and a timer to request new and failed queues in intervals * A user's share list can now be browsed, and can download their files * Private messages * Ability to block users from private messages, hub chat, and uploads (you can download from them, but they cant download from you) * All settings, spare a few in the misc. section, are in effect * The UI has been overhauled since v.50, which makes it easier to use and more like DC++ * Added LIMITED local search functionality to search local browse list and send results * Added simple splash screen * Fixed redirect problems * Many bug fixes in handling hub connections
