• Webventures Content Management System (CMS) Released!

  Webventures Content Management System (WVCMS) version 1.0.1 has been released! It is aimed for simplicity and version 1 has shown just that. Everything ranging from the default template through to the admin area is simple! WVCMS is buiilt to be simple and lightweight - allowing other PHP developers the freedom to expand and model to there requirements. The current file, wvcms101.zip, is 2.45 MB (compressed). It requires PHP 5.2 (or above) and a MySQL 4 (or above) database to run correctly. If you have a suggestion, bug or comment please contact a Project admin.

• Redone the website

  Some of you may have noticed that the website was down for a while the last couple of days. This was because the HTML was being rewritten to be valid and the content was being added correctly. All is now working!

• Major News Update

  Many things have happened to this project since the last news update. 1. We are changing our name to Webventures Web Apps and will be called WVWP. This will also be changing our web address to http://wvwp.sourceforge.net . 2. We are going to set up a website with MediaWiki at the above address to store information and resources. 3. WebCode - a simple web language - will be released on Saturday 20th September. 4. Other software (eg. CMS, Blog, Chat, Forum, Wiki and Photo sharer) will be starting to appear in December. Until then, Have a great time!
