Hi Antony
I've forked the WTIQ project code and am developing some new software in a project I'm calling Guanoo. It's going to be hosted over at
http://code.google.com/p/guanoo/ when it's ready for its first release.
Sorry for the delays but I chose to re-engineer a lot of stuff instead of patching bad old code. It's likely to be ready to download by the end of August. I might also host a version of it here on Sourceforge to make it easier to find.
Thanks for your interest - the new version is much much better than WTIQ with:
- Improved reports
- Improved APIs
- Much better code quality
- Easier to install in a place of your choosing
- Runs with "perl" in any location (not just /usr/local/bin/perl)
- Many other small improvements
- A whole bunch of tests to prove it works
Please be patient - it will be worth the wait. I'm aiming to provide better capabilities than Piwik (see
http://piwik.org/ ), but my web interface will come after the XML/JSON API is released, probably in September or October. I'm aiming at a decent version 1.0 by the end of 2008.
Kind regards
Kevin (project author)
