  • Comment: Resumed upload corrupted

Can you give steps to reproduce this behaviour? (e.g. create a 10k file remote, resume a 15k file to it, result will be 15,5k) What FTP-Server is remote, have you tried different ones / have you tried to resume on these with other FTP clients? Which version of wput are you using?.

I guess the problem may be somehow related to bug number 1651042.

  • Comment: Resumed upload corrupted

Other tests show that it's not always 512 bytes, but generally those are longer and corrupted. See the attached files.

  • Resumed upload corrupted

I used wput with breaking and resuming one file a couple of times. The resulting file on remote FTP is 512 bytes longer than original. Probably some bytes are repeated.

  • Comment: Can't handle large files >2GB and gives incorrect error

sorry, don't have time to install git to see if this would work. I'm already 1.5 hours into a "5 minute" FREE job for someone, so I'll just split the file and use ftp. If you've fixed the bug, feel free to close the ticket--just trying to help you improve the product.

Using latest version from sourceforge: 0.6.1.

  • Can't handle large files >2GB and gives incorrect error

When trying to use wput to upload an 11GB file, I get this error: Error: File `list.gz' does not exist. Don't know what to do about this URL. Nothing done. Try `wput --help'. would be great if it supported >2GB files (wget does--that's why I was trying to use wput because ftp doesn't handle >2GB files) Would be nice if it gave correct error message. uname -a: Linux...
