Can the work process be more closely followed in workbase?
ie. Can we add in the ability to estimate for a job first before turning that estimate into an invoice?
Normal work process in our firm is to be briefed on a job, us to produce an estimate and timeline for that work, get client approval to proceed, then for us to produce the work, buy materials (and produce purchase orders for those purchases) and incur expenses, add time to the job for designing things and management of the project, then invoice on that basis. Sometimes there may be a difference between the estimate and the invoice and there needs to be the freedom to adjust that initial estimate to turn it into an invoice.
Is Workbase heading towards that sort of activity?
