Resolve installation problems
First of all, thanx to all who tried wmeTV so far. The app is in alpha stage so youre likely you run in to some kind of trouble when using it. When trouble begins at installation its unfortunate, and I can only provide you with one solution: download the source code and compile it on your local system. If you dont have Visual Studio 6 but have problems installing wmeTV then, well, youre out of luck Im afraid. To these unfortunate ones, heres some good news: wmeTV 0.01b (the upcoming version) will be based on the .NET platform which will affect the stability and compatibility of wmeTV in a positive way. wmeTV 0.01b is scheduled to be released this fall (2004).

This is the projects first release of wmeTV, a TV viewing/recording application based on Windows Media Encoder. Executable and source is available in the files area.
