I like your program a lot, but it's a pity that I need more than 100MB of additional disk space to get it installed.
It depends, for example, on kdelibs4c2a that has a lot of dependencies itself, occupying 70MB. (Not everybody uses KDE)
I would like a lot that you release a portable version of Wireless Assistant, with only the libraries (not packages) really needed.
This are some of the...

Hello, Paul
As you can see, you got Session Management Error, which does not apply to wireless network security but to your DE (that probably KDE). Please check tool what do you use to get necessary permissions to run Wlassistant (kdesu or sudo?) - it might be badly configured. Or you might be running Wlassistant as root, don't you?
With best regards,

Hi,
Installed wlassistant some time ago and it works pretty well except for WEP/WPA connections.
I'm also using the ndiswrapper to handle the driver for my wireless card.
The info I find on the subject, wpa_supplicant, etc. is generally a little vague and inconsistent
sometimes. If anyone can offer me any suggestions, I would be appreciative.
Here is the error message I get:
orbi.

I was also having problems with installing wlassistant under Intrepid but as Doug suggested using the command below installs fine and works perfectly.
dpkg --ignore-depends=kicker -i wlassistant_0.5.7-2_i386.deb
Thanks guys.
