How can I protect my DSL connection?

    Good day to all.
    Please somebody help me to protect my DSL connection.

    1)My internet connection has no Reverse DNS!
    2)I dont know know how to protect Wireless connection!
    2)Almost all ports are open!

    How can I close my opened ports and hide them from all?
    People please help me,give me some examples.

    Im looking forward for your help.I need it ASAP!
