winrosh is Robbie's Shell for Windows. It is a command line shell that imitates the file-completion function of Bash (as of year 2005). It is better than NTSH and windows bash ports in that it supports CJK encodings.
My personal opinion: rosh and the accompanying command line tools in this project make command line experience EASY! I use them everyday in my daily work. They're very useful.
2009-01-18 librmosaic was built and Python programs were being ported to Python 3.0.
2007-11-17 This release includes two new tools: morecmd.py and emptywss.bat. morecmd.py allows executing a command with many arguments generated from the stdout of the previous command. It's purpose is like xargs, but is much simpler. Together with it is the cptr.py which copies a directory tree retaining the directory name. findindir.bat is another. emptywss.bat empties working sets of running processes. This is possible to improve the performance of the system (not totally clear whether it is effective). It can be used as a more controllable alternative to SweepRAM (search on the web). This release also has some tidying up and clean.bat is renamed to rmclean.bat to avoid name duplication. cleanbak.bat and cleantmp.bat are included for convenience.

2007-09-09 Today I want to make a few modifications to make it more useful. First is to by default focus the first submenu item. Also, let me add support for Home and End. Unfortunately there are no extended key code for Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down, so I still have to use Ctrl+Left and Ctrl+Right. The work is done.
2007-09-07 stamnu.bat is changed and stamnu.py is written, allows a much more easy-to-use start menu substitute. Also, with the help of afcastro, frequently used items can be listed. 2007-09-07 13:24 UTC Updated stamnup.bat to support the difference between those computers.
