  • Win 7 RC - Errors Occured during adding input files

When trying to add files to encode, I've encountered the following error: Errors occured during adding input files: error opening input file: error message: Couldn't open input file (System error.) I'm running Win 7 RC on a Core 2 Duo. I tried "Run as Administrator", but that didn't help.

  • Comment: wrong name after encoding

Since winLAME cannot both read from and write to a file, it has to use another name. You have to specify another output folder to get the result you have in mind. When using "delete after encoding" option, I could rename it back to the original filename. I consider this change for the next version. Thanks for the report!

  • wrong name after encoding

Hi, winlame beta 1 and beta 2 have the same problem. When encoding an mp3 to another mp3 bitrate the file has the additional string ".mp3" in the name. So the final name of the file is something like: track01.mp3.mp3 I have used these settings: custom encoding use input file's folder as output location delete after encoding overwrite existing files cheers Bodo.

  • Comment: Anwenungskonfiguration nicht korrekt

Does not happen with BETA1 though. (even after removing C++ redistributable where BETA2 fails)

  • Comment: Anwenungskonfiguration nicht korrekt

possibly a duplicate of bug #2884088 which wouldn't be fixed then... Feel free to mark as duplicate and re-open. The mentioned workaround works in this case, too. (But that's quite harsh for an avergage end-user if the app just doesn't start and doesn't give any hints on how to solve)

  • Comment: Anwenungskonfiguration nicht korrekt

Bug occured on WinXP Pro SP3. Could not verify on Win2k SP4. It asks for restart on Win2k (did not do this on WinXP). But Winlame could be successfully started on Win2k even without restart so this might not be the cause.

  • Anwenungskonfiguration nicht korrekt

WinLAME BETA2 doesn't start at all after installation due to incorrect application configuration it says: --------------------------- D:\Progs\WinLAME\winLAME.exe Diese Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden, weil die Anwenungskonfiguration nicht korrekt ist. Zur Problembehebung sollten Sie die Anwendung neu installieren. --------------------------- OK ---------------------------.
