feature request - ignore this folder

This feature would be the reverse of the focus - lets say i have an archive folder taking up 60% of the drive - i would like to be able to see how the rest of the space was being used.

This could also be implemented at search time, so when a folder is being searched (and the little pacman icon is going) you could right click on it and select "ignore this folder".

I'd love to have this sort of feature. If the next version added only 1 new feature, I'd hope that this could be it.

Our largest server has one folder that takes about 8+ hours for windirstat to scan, and the rest of the server (which takes the bulk of the space) takes less than 1 hour. I'd love if Windirstat could ignore the 8+ hour folder.

Related to this, I think windirstat isn't nearly as fast at scanning network shares as it could be. Windows Explorer's able to calculate the size and file count of the same folder in under a minute.

Such stuff should always go into the feature tracker, instead of the "discussion" forum. That's the whole point of the trackers.

Anyway, I like the idea, but have some difficulties to understand how this could be implemented. For one, this would probably have to be setting or similar (i.e. persistence is needed), while at the same time the feature should be available from all three views of WinDirStat (by right-clicking), right?
