Love that its free
Reliable and runs smoothly
Very nice document ever seen and has very very useful data wont get anywhere. Thanks a lot for the efforts nice explanation with practical examples in simple language.
The document is absolutely fantastic. But since I am quite particular about grammer and other stuff, below are my suggestions/recommendations for this document: 1. DLL is actually (Dynamic Link Library and not Dynamic Link Layer) 2. Do not assume people will know that they have the PDBs. So make sure before start of debugging using WinDbg the person should have corresponding PDB files as well along with Executable/DLL. 3. 0:000> .logopen BasicDebugging.txt command opened log file 'BasicDebugging.txt' in the current working directory. 4. Use convenience wherever convenient has been used. 5. Chapter 2 - in the below command why "w4" and "r4", 'w' and 'r' I can consider for read/write, but what '4' signifies 0:000> ba w4 0x00035c18 0:000> ba r4 0x00035c08 6. On Page 21 'dielama' should be corrected as 'dilemma', former is wrong spelling. 7 .Page No. 32 and 33 have some repeated information. Page 33 information itself seems to be complete.
