WinBinder is a new PHP extension that allows PHP programmers to build native Windows applications. It wraps the Windows API in a lightweight, easy-to-use library so that program creation is simple, quick and fun.
Seems to be a great idea, but, I haven't used it yet, so I can't review it properly, sorry XD.

The WinBinder Development Team (WDT) is proud to announce the release of the last (maintenance) version of the alpha branch. WinBinder v. 0.46.0 goes strong with amongst others the following highlights: - supports the following PHP runtimes: 4.3.10 up to 4.4.2, 5.0.3 up to 5.1.4 - upgrade to/addition of the following PHP minimal distributions for the online installation: 4.4.2, 5.0.5 and 5.1.2 - release of the new Form Editor (FE) coded by Rubem. The FE being designed and implemented with PHP and WinBinder only finally removes third party application dependencies for new projects GUI building-wise. - sorted out the memory leak that occurred on every function call - addition of the new WinBinder icon - and many other changes, enhancements and fixes For more details in depth make sure to either download WinBinder or to have a look at the change log located at http://svn.berlios.de/viewcvs/winbinder/tags/0.46.0/docs/changelog.txt?rev=93&view=log. The WDT has worked hard behind the scenes to enhance and optimise amongst others the release process. As a result weve committed ourselves to the mantra release early, release frequently.
