Output Plug-in for Winamp 5 that utilises OpenAL. Written primarily for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users to get Hardware Acceleration support.
Great!!! Thank you so much!
needed 24 bit support. 16 bit isnt enough..
Wonderfully useful and fun. Bringing back Hardware Acceleration of the Sound Card to Nullsoft's Winamp. Winamp OpenAL Output Plug-in offers a great replacement for the DirectSound plug-in which the API is now depreciated on Windows Vista and Seven. Moving forward to soon match the features of DirectSound Output along with a few tricks of it's own like 3D positioning and reverberation effects brings out the fun in music. I hope the OpenAL API will grow some more to soon support 24-bit audio with this plug-in pushing right behind it. In all, an excellent plug-in to have with Winamp and I hope to see more.
Needed project. I use 0.9.6 svn version, and its very cool. The newer versions have some unwanted side effects in my system if i check "Effect Enabled" :(. I can't wait the final (1.0) release.
Don't work on my system and Windows 7.
