WinampMatrixMixer is a winamp output plugin. Its main purpose is to upmix stereo streams to multichannel (useful on 5.1 audio systems).Based on last version of ac3filter, it does also the same audio processing (see ac3filter website for more details).

Been looking for a stereo upmixing plugin for Winamp for quite some time now! This works perfectly, although I hope it can be updated to use the AC3Filter 1.6x codebase that has the equalizer support for each channel.

Excellent plugin. Just worked and allowed me to upmix easily. Pushes its output through another Winamp output plugin so you don't need to lose the features of that plugin (ie fading in the DirectSound output plugin) when using this one. It isn't really explained how to use it, but if you fiddle with the sliders and options you can hear the changes it makes and pick what you like best.
