I got it working, and those 17 seconds of wireless music through Winamp were bliss, I tell you!
Of note: I got the exception as expected, but I told it to continue and then quickly clicked OK on the window under it ("unable to write data to the transport connection") before the exception alert came up again. It connected again and I was able to listen for a lot longer...like 30...

If anyone has problems figuring out which DLL's to put where, use these ones:
/out_airport/common/out_Airport.dll AND out_Airport_.dll
/out_AirPort/out_AirPort/bin/Debug/JustEPort.dll
As the author mentioned on the Winamp.com forums, put the dll's like so:
JustEPort.dll (copy to winamp-directory)
out_Airport.dll (copy to winamp-directory)
out_Airport_.dll. (copy to...

This is fantastic news that someone is finally working on a plugin like this. I just downloaded it and haven't gotten it working yet, but I have high hopes that at least I can get that 17 seconds before an exception (wirelessly).
If there's anything I can do to help out (sadly my only programming experience comprised of elementary Java) let me know!

Thanks for this plugin! This is just what I need.
My experience so far: most songs play well. Sometimes WinAmp crashes when I switch songs. Most Internet Radio stations also crash, sometimes with a dialog box that says that 44000 is the only sample rate supported.
I'm on Windows XP SP2 and I'm using a wired Airport.
Cheers,
Greg.

More things to note:
If a song finishes playing and stopes, if I then select a new song to play, winamp crashes.
I think it is odd that the volume is very reposnsive inside winamp yet switching tracks or seeking to a different spot in the current songs takes 8 or more seconds. Not sure why.
Are you seeing the same thing?.

I am connected via wireless WEP 128 bit. I have airport v.3.6, 802.11g only, cahnnel automatic, multicast rate 2 mb/s.
I do run into problems when itunes starts even if it is not playing. I think it comes up as a runtime error.
I have always repfered winamp over itunes but Media Center is truly the best player if you have a alot of music. It's not perfect but as close as you can get.:-)

Are you connected to your Airport with a CABLE or Wireless? Do you use
When you are connected wireless, do you use WEP or WPA Encryption?
J. River Media Center: I have never heard about this player. But I also released the source-code for this plugin, so a developer should be able to write a plugin for J. River Media Center.
