Twister

I changed the default port to port 80, sorry, I should have mentioned that.
In the meantime, it seems to have fixed itself. After a restart of the puter and of Tomcat, the application is working fine.

BTW, would Twister implement in any way the standards from the Workflow management coalition (WfMC), such as XPDL for WF definitions? I am currently looking around for a good open-source workflow definition/execution program and I have it limited down to Twister, ACtiveBPEL and OpenWFE. Only the latter seems to be support the WfMC standards.
