Spurred on by discussions on the cgi-app mailing list, I have revisited the code for DB Edit and made some bug fixes and put out a new release. The main changes involve a lot of fixes to the install.pl script, a design change to the DB_Edit/Database.pm module, and many other small bug fixes to the code and the templates.
There are many small bug fixes in this release. Most of them are in the install.pl script. There are also a few design changes in the DB_Edit/Database.pm module. Some minor bug fixes in some templates, too.
DB Edit is part of the Web Page Wizard suite of CGI tools for administering web sites. It is based on the perl modules CGI::Application and DBI. There is still a lot to do, but this release is already quite functional. This first release contains the basic tools for database connection, data add/edit/delete, multiple users/access control, and raw SQL queries. This is development code, and should not be treated as stable.
