  • Followup: RE: METAR.pm problem

    I generally see this problem when using a non-standard METAR. Remember that METARs are not written by computer. They're written by humans in a not-very-standardized kind of shorthand. For testing purposes, I suggest you try a different reporting station. Your reporting station will probably have a better-encoded report on the next update. Also note that METAR.pm does not properly parse...

  • METAR.pm problem

    Hello. I just tryed to run a weathergraph but I can't get any graphics to be maked by it. I get this errors an I use Geo-METAR 1.14: Use of uninitialized value in substr at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/Geo/METAR.pm line 769. Argument "" isn't numeric in numeric lt (<) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/Geo/METAR.pm line 776. Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at...

  • Followup: RE: What features would you like to see?

    I definetly think you should add humidity,rainfall, etc... But they should go on different graphs...perhaps have a user configurable setting that can change how the graphs are made.

  • Graphs longer than One Year

    Frank has weathergraph nicely setup to create graphs with longer time periods. I've currently got Five year graphs working. You can contact me if you'd like the instructions on how to do this, or I can post it here. Another very cool feature of the long term graphs I discovered is since the data is already there (I added a Five Year graph to a weathergraph monitor that had been running for 6...

  • a howto to help

    Ok, I think this is the coolest thing since sliced bread. I've been trying to hack together mrtg and rdd tool and a weather grepping tool for a couple of months, and then I found this. Had it setup in under an hour so I wrote up a quick Howto on about what I had to do to get it up and running. the page: http://nightmare.org/weather/ the howto: http://nightmare.org/weather/how.html...

  • What features would you like to see?

    I'm currently working on version 2.0 of WeatherGraph and I'm interested in getting some input as to what you'd like to see in it. Some of the things I'd like to add are support for humidity, rainfall, daily highs/lows, etc. Should they all be on the same graph? Separate graphs? etc. What would you like to see? FP.

  • I dig it!

    This is a pretty slick script! I had to do some major cpan stuff (new version of perl, etc.) to get it running, but it works! A small suggestion for future version, could you make it so it shows the weather station in the graph? And also maybe show multiple stations. I guess I could just set up multiple scripts to do that, though. zenjive.

  • Geo::METAR problem

    Be sure to use the latest verion of Geo::METAR, which is 1.14. Version 1.7 is mislabelled. It should be called 1.07 and is terribly out of date. That will fix the TEMP_F and TEMP_C problem reported by a number of people.
