Thanks for your good words and for reporting your problem.
I vaguely remember the issue you mention, but I'm quite
sure it was fixed months ago, and shouldn't be there in the
latest version. Could you please reply with the version of
the program you're using?

I have now found a way to reliably change the file
extension from upper to lower case so problem solved.
It would still be nice if the prog could recognise upper
case extensions thus saving me additional conversion steps.

Hi,
This is a great tool and has been extremely useful to
me in starting to convert my personal music collection
of aprox 9,000 Wav files to Mp3. However I have
encountered a problem in that it does not seem to
recognise upper case file extensions. It will will
happily convert 'aaa.wav', but 'aaa.WAV' is ignored.
Aprox one third of my collection have upper case
