What's happening?

Comment: Ping of IP fails. Again.
I had the same problem on some old laptop 266mhz/128MB. The problem was the default interval of 1 second. After increasing interval to 5 seconds or more the problem was solved. Somehow the software took 3 seconds to process the ping response. Hope this helps anyone.

Sorry, but I didn't find any way to comment previous bug report. I've updated from 5.9 to 5.12 and then to 5.11(for testing) but nothing changed for me. Ping from console works perfectly but all I got with watchdog is "ping of IP fails" on any address, even with 127.0.0.1.
