Hello.
I used to play Napoleon 1813 several years back on older windows versions. I always loved to play it again but I lost my CD of the game then.
Now that I have acquired another one; the game keeps bogging down on my xp.
I have already applied all existing patches but the game keeps hanging. It was tolerable to a point since I decided to save the campaign game every now and then and was able to play a saved game for about half an hour till the next crash.
Unfortunately AVG the antivirus software upgraded to 8.0. Once I adopted it, a reloaded saved game crashes less than a minute into it leaving practically no room to advance the game any further.
Has anyone found a better combination of software windows xp to play the game?
