ClanWar manager is suited for any online game. You can add users, wars, results and medals to the bot and let users add themselves to a war. The bot responds to set commands and gives lists of upcoming wars and medals. The TCL script is a limited script

Since I have discovered a new Java Framework (as per last post) I have not altered the code for the eggdrop module and tcl script. I am not planning to do so in the future either. Instead I am full focussing on my Java bot, which is near completion. Due to some personal matters I haven't found the time to finish this Java version, therefore it's best to stop at sourceforge and start focusing on the new bot. This I will not host here as I think this project is not suitable as a host for a different project. Hope you have enjoyed my products so far.
Since I discovered a nice Framework for irc bots in Java I have been working on a rough version of the warmanager module in Java. It contains the same functionality, but it is more stable than the current module for an eggdrop. This is mainly because when the eggdrop encounters an error it crashes and the debug information is either not there or limited. With the new module you can run the module, which is really a whole bot, with only an installation of Java 1.5 and MySQL. After the first release I will try to get more compatibility with other database brands. I will also make more modules with other functionality that can be added to this bot so your bot will be able to perform many actions. For example: Use Google, Use IMDB, Use RCON to scan gameservers etc. I expect to release this version of the warmanager at the end of August.
Changelog #2.3 - Added compile-dependant debug info - Altered the SQL queries to be more efficient - removed a bug in !add and !remove which would add a space in front of the first players name. As we have recently discovered the release of warmanager.mod 2.2 beta wasn't as good as we expected. The module causes the bot to crash causing confusion among users. To reply to all: we are looking into it. We also are looking for more features suggestions so if you have any please post them. We have added one feature called !topic which sets the topic of a prespecified channel. If you have a channel where you goto before a war then this is a handy feature. All you have to do is provide the proper info in advance (using !addmatch or !chinfo) and all you have to do is put the bot in this specific "warm-up channel" and say !topic <id>. More about this in the release. We are also looking for developers so if you have some spare time (few hours per week is enough) and want to help. we program in C, but if you have html/php knowledge then we can use you for our huge upcoming feature. Happy gaming!
