I am REALLY sorry for not responding to Otto's request (and a few more received by email). Partly, I have been rather busy switching jobs lately, and apart from that, I was a little bit clueless as to the cause of the problem myself.
Today, I looked into the problem a bit - and by chance remembered something I'd done to strengthen the script on foreign systems: I had a line in the code setting error_reporting to 0 on all hosts OTHER than mine. So all of you people installing wapreader on another host and missing a requirement or something where getting a completely blank page, as PHP hid any error message at all.
Now, Version 1.9.2 has a config for this at the very top of the code. Read line numbers 8 to 11, then act ;-)
