Hi! Welcome to the Developer Section of SourceForge.

In this section, you can fix bugs and provide patches to your favorite projects. Open source works best if everyone pitches in...and who knows, you just might become a coding legend!

To get started register for an account. Without an account, you can't write source code, manage projects, or create a project of your own.

If you’re looking for projects that need help, check out our Project Help Wanted board. If you have an idea for the next big project, you can register it and start coding immediately.

Finally, if you're new to open source and just want to find out what’s going on, check out our community pages.

Thanks for visiting. Happy hacking!

Hi, after some search, I found out that this's a Qt bug: http://qt.nokia.com/developer/task-tracker/index_html?method=entry&id=164068 Could you please confirm that your platform is Mac? So, in this case, I can suspend filesystem watching only for Mac platform. Please give a feedback ASAP. BR, Tony.

Just a simple custom url input would be fine eg: http://backend.deviantart.com/rss.xml?q=boost%3Apopular+in%3Atraditional&type=deviation&offset=0 Regards Laurence.

  • Followup: RE: Dual Screens support

Yes, there're plans to implement it, but not in the immediate future. At the moment, only bugfixing is the priority. When Qt 4.6 will be available, a complete refactoring will be applied to Wally, and so many features (not considered at the beginning) will be added, like multiple monitors. Thanks, BR, Tony.

  • Followup: RE: RSS Media Feed

Hi Laurence, many modules, like Buzznet, are already based on RSS. In future, I'll try to implement a general module for all RSS media. Thanks, BR, Tony.

  • Dual Screens support

Is there any plan to support dual screens? I run on ubuntu 9.1 and have two screens and the background always appears in the middle between the two. If I then go to change the background via gnome I can change it to span both but there doesn't seem to be this option in your settings? It might be nice if there was options to have different backgrounds on each screen or the same on both...

  • RSS Media Feed

Is there any chance you will be adding the functionality to add RSS media feeds? I used to use a program on windows called Johns background switcher which had this. I think it would be a good feature to implement as there is some good sites that provide backgrounds via rss (eg deviant art). Regards Laurence.
