General: I've been using vtigerCRM for the past two years and never had any sort of trouble using it. Every few months the vtiger team proudly announces new features and modules, also major releases! For End Users: Really simple and sleeky interface which makes you using it more often and with pleasure. Its load times are fair nice and swift. For Developers: I also develop and modify my company's vtiger and I must say its easy to develop in sa the source code is really efficiently written. vtiger utilizes AJAX and php, obviously html js and CSS. Well, in short, it is a marvelous application.

vTiger version 5.1 shows a very mature CRM that competes with best-of-breed paid CRM software. I've been using it for a very small organization (3 people), and I'd only add 2 missing features for the out of the box version: - Account Payables/Receivables tracking - Better reporting capabilities Everything else is very easy to use and simply... works!

As as CRM consulting firm, we have piloted many other CRM systems, including SugarCRM, and we believe that vtiger CRM give the largest return on investment due to its low startup cost and flexibility (open source nature). We are working to add some social features and integration into other popular SaaS products for accounting, marketing and more. This is the best crm

Takes alot of work to sort out all missing/wrong features. The code is written as americans would use it, not worldwide compatible without changing code. Tries to implement features that belong to ERP/finance systems. Nice frameset for getting started on building your own CRM. Their forums contain patches for most problems, however applying them will likely break compatibility towards further releases. Good choice for CRM if you can code php and have spare time to customize it to your needs.

So far so good ... I like the ease and function of vTiger, and once I am able to start my business, I will be making efforts to return the favor to the developers of the Open Source programs that I hope to integrate in my systems.
