Visual Tcl is a freely-available, high-quality application development environment for UNIX, Windows, Macintosh and AS400 platforms. Visual Tcl is written entirely in Tcl/Tk and generates pure Tcl/Tk code.

neeeds tckl/tk exactly 8.5 and i have 8.5.8. Dont work. I dont mind installing another tcl version neither modifying some VTCL file.

Download latest tkcon from sourceforge.net/projects/tkcon/. In the lib directory replace the oldtkcon.tcl with the new one. In the new tkcon.tcl comment the line that does the exec of wish. This removes the issue of tcl/tk 8.5 error and starts the application. I've not tested the rest.
