  • Only the program me helped
  • Tested in Windows 10. This program does everything WRONG. I've set a maximum volume of 65%, set a password, and put it in the start menu. Then when I restarted the PC, the volume was set to 100%, locked, and it doesn't accept the password I have set. It's a piece of garbage. Stay away.
  • Downloaded and installed on Windows 10. It works as advertised, but could really use a little more development. Here are the things that need to change IMHO to get up to 5 stars (and make it useful for me). 1 - The name implies a limit, not a lock. With the lock on, you cannot change the volume at all. Either provide the option to set an upper limit only, or re-title as volume locker. 2 - The password is stored in plain text in the registry. There is no point in having a password if it can be discovered with a simple registry search. That said, I understand that some sort of back-door password reset mechanism needs to be built in. 3 - The interface looks like it's from 1995. 4 - The icons are very poor. That's just my honest opinion, perhaps nothing the developer doesn't already know. I just hope this helps others looking for a password protected LIMITER.
  • AVG killed the installation of the program as soon as I launched setup.e x e. It found Luhe.Fiha.A virus. After exiting, I deleted it. I'm still interested in trying an clean version of the software, if it's available.
  • Trojan
  • I just registered into this page so I could thank you for this program. The volume knob of my laptop was malfunctioning, and volume was constantly going up or down by itself. I found other programs in which you could set an upper limit for the volume, but that wouldn't solve my case, so I kept looking for something which could help me until I found this. Thanks a lot! (Design it's a bit poor, I particularly dislike the icon when the program is minimized to the system tray, but what matters is that the program does its purpose, so that's why I'm rating it 5/5)

  • I was looking for something like this!! previously I found only paid programs. This one works good, but it has some bugs that prevent it from be deployed on my machines: 1- it eats a lof cpu cycles, at least 30% on Dual Core CPU @ 2.7GHz 2- when the program is displaying a dialog (ex. asking for password), volume can be changed freely, so my clients could reproduce this and bypass limiter. Program tested on: Windows 8.1 / x86 / Spanish

  • This is almost what I was looking for. This is a brilliant little program but it locks the volume completely and I was hoping to set a maximum level while still allowing it to be reduced by the user. This is far better than having nothing though, so thank you!

  • I'm so happy you made this program! I've been looking for something like this for awhile with no luck. My brother is autistic and likes to crank up the volume to full constantly, So this really is a lifesaver
