Quick look at the stacktrace did not suggest to me that UnknownPropertyException is the reason behind these crashes. Indeed, it should be handled correctly already. More investigation is needed to find the reason, and I may not be able to do that in the next few weeks. But I can suggest a fix if someone finds a way to reproduce this.
Priority up to 7 as this sounds like something that needs...

I received a bug report from the Fedora packages, that PropertyManager::readFromRegistry may throw an exception which is not handled and thus OpenOffice.org crashes.
