The new release includes two main features: - The whole system has been updated to support the lastest Ubuntu Gutsy distribution (kernel 2.6.19-4) - Virtualinux can now be tested and developed on a single machine (i.e a laptop) The whole distribution, including the virtual cluster support and management tools, can be installed and developed on a single laptop ( at least core 2 duo). This many-tier release exploits two nested tiers of virtual machines to virtualize the physical cluster and the virtual clusters (respectively). It uses both binary translation and paravirtualization. More details and the full software image will be posted in the next days.
