It currently connects to the has the following access modes: USB and 1394-Firewire webcameras (Through DirectX and vidCapture API) USB, 1394 and miniDV web/cameras (Through dsVideo API) 1394 firewire webcameras (CarnegieMellon API) Specialised 1394 firewire PointGrey camera (PointGrey API) The library is simple and clean enough to include your own API of choice. Besides the release of this new library there also have been several fixes and cleanups to the sources and configuration files.
In this release we have mainly corrected a few minor errors in the build rules that caused problems when building individual libraries.
After rigorous testing and verification, this is a fully working release, containing all the source-code and documents from both MIRALab-University of Geneva as well as VRLab-EPFL
