I love this project, because it's training for the young and old. I was taught the trade when I was five year old. My project will teach how to design wearable art crochet. All designs will be custom fitted one of a kind sweater wear. In the future I want to design software for charting images, and drafting patterns using crochet stitches instead of the old knit 1 pearl 2. I will also, like to create an electronic book for fashion design. I am not a fashion illustrator, but if I can create a fashion template book of fashion models all one will have to do is to trace the illustration that they want, and add what ever design to that template. Lastly, I will research yarn companies to see if there is a market for crochet sweater designers, and what training do a designer need to be employed by them. Recently, I spoke to an elderly lady of grandeur, and told her of all my inspirations, and after about a few minutes into the conversation she just smile, and said " knitting is just knitting, but crochet is an art". I only hope that you will feel the same way too.
