Easy control of virtual machines of VirtualBox (virtualization solution) on a Linux headless server. Autostart and autosave on boot/halt. Start, stop, save, backup and show status of sessions in batch mode from command line.
Great for my development machine, where i can autostart and stop multiple virtual machines with the host.
Great tool, although I had to change it a little bit to make it work. In vboxtool I changed the lines (2x): $vbox_command startvm $uuid -type vrdp into: $vbox_command startvm $uuid -type headless and then it worked. Using Ubuntu Karmic Koala.
VBoxTool worked great for me! I needed to auto-start (and stop) a vm along with the host OS. Using VBoxTool this added the last piece of the pussle as VirtualBox did not provide this functionality out of the box. Great tool!
