I don't know if any of the source code in my project would help or not, but have you reviewed the Code Analyzer in http://sf.net/projects/vbutils ?
I've looked through your work and I believe I've used part of your work in my code, but can't remember. If I did, you can be sure that I left the names of the original author in the source...

Years ago i got from bebits.org a small demo converter i think became open-source, would convert VB code into GCC-compilable C code - quite interesting the way how it works: converts the VB code and calls GCC, and you got the working compiled executable - would be interesting this converter can work this way too... ;)
btw, a converter would do from WxBasic to MingW C code would be...

VB6ToVC6 0.7.9 releasesd this day.
Not a major one but it correct some bugs and adds some new things.
