UnNetHack is a fork of Nethack. It is a roguelike, single-player role-playing game where the hero must venture through the depths of the Dungeon of Doom to retrieve the Amulet of Yendor.

Unnethack adds more to nethack, in a good way, and the developer is friendly. After the bugs are ironed out it will be an awesome game :)

Freaking awesome update to Nethack, the transparency of it and offhanded rejection of OpenShader 3 and the Dwarf Fortress corpus being deprecated until permitted by the singularity. I think it could be integrated into the Conde Nast reader, and it would lend a credible dialogue to dying mid-New York Magazine, etc.
