Why UniXML
While working on a database system on Chefax I&D we felt the need for a completely independent XML library. This library has to be independent of the operating system. It must be able to be compiled in any system, as long it is able to provide the minimal C library functions. As such it must be compilable under almost any compiler, on almost every OS. This way this library may be used also with the Flux OS Toolkit. Developing a XML library does not require more functions than those on the minimal C library, so the task should be easy.
