A really great tool !! I'm using it with different UMTS UBS stick since years because there's no compareable successfully working built-in tool in Debian derivates until now. (Currently I've problems to run UMTSmon under Kubuntu 11.10 but I'm sure my little problem can also be solved within a very short time frame.) UMTSmon should be updated and considered by the several Linux distributors as a standard part of the distribution !

Just installed it on Lubuntu 11.04 ..yes it is still needed! 3G signals are still weak and good real time readings are hard to get. Thanks for the good work!!

Excellent interface, simple and sleek...Would recommend. However do not expect miracles with SMS support
