I had this problem when I was running Types from within the Windows\System32 folder. But when I moved it to another folder outside of the Windows tree, it worked fine. Strange.

I was able to change the windows vista icon for zip files with no problem. I just clicked on an icon (in imageres.dll), then closed the little window that I was in, then clicked on the "refresh now" link at the bottom of the main window. It worked!
