TWAPI and TEA?

  1. 2009-10-14 11:40:33 UTC

One of the useful resources in the Tcl community is the ActiveState teapot repository. It allows Tcl users to easily obtain a copy of a useful extension.

Right now, TWAPI is not a part of that repository. When I asked ActiveState about it, I was told that the last time they checked, TWAPI didn't use the TEA build structure. The ActiveState build process depends on TEA to provide a standard build environment.

Has anyone considered providing a TEA build environment for TWAPI?

Thank you very much for your work on this extension. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I have looked at this multiple times. However, the work required to convert to TEA is more than I can manage at this time. It will probably only happen if and when TWAPI adds 64-bit support.

I realy like to see at least the win directory populated. Could you at least provide a source distribution? Then the community might contribute the TEA parts.

I can provide at least the VC++ part (makefile.vc,rules.vc,...). With this it also becomes easier to deal with WIndows SDKs.
