"Tux, of Math Command" is a math drill game starring Tux, the Linux Penguin. Lessons are included from simple number typing through addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of positive and negative numbers. It is intended for kids ~4-10.
This is a great program for all ages. The speed and complexity of the more advanced difficulty settings makes it appropriate even for older kids who don't have a strong math foundation. The graphics and music are pleasant and undistracting. The only improvement I'd hope for is a time/date stampe on the scoreboard so that kids can monitor their progress more easily.
Great program I think my kids will love it! I especially like the diversity in skill levels., as I have 2 children in different grades. Excellent job people! 100%
The students like it better than timed drills, but it needs a way to track each player's high scores.
See changelog in source tarball for details. Most of the changes since 1.7.1 involve linewrapping support so internationalized strings can be more properly supported.
