Tribix - Extended Emitters for BIRT

I don´t know what happened but I stopped and started Tomcat (for the nth time..) and it´s working. Now I´m facing another problem (maybe a bug?). I had generated a report with columns that are strings and its contents are IDs with codes like, "00A2", "R445", "0003" and others. When I export to Excel, the above codes are shown as "A2", "R445" and "3", i.e., the zeros on the left are eliminated. How should I proceed to avoid this behaviour? I want the IDs be shown as they really are: strings.
