A new update of the ForestSimulator is available. This version also includes the support for the ALNUS Project. The source code in the repository is not updated anymore. But you can download the source and the documentation in a special file. J. Nagel
Finally there is the Forest Simulator packed in an Installation File for Windows Users. All users have use the source code of treegross.zip and recompile.
The treegross project has been totally restructured. In addition the code is now based on Java 1.5.0 and NetBeans 4.0 . You will find the new code in the repository under treegrossproject_source. There three subpackages to treegross. 1.) base which contains pure forest growth model. 2.) standsimulation which is an application of base in form of a Forest Siumulator. 3.) ksp which is an application for prognosis and analysis of permanent forest inventory plots.
