  • Followup: RE: PSH flag

It will take either a code change or a new protocol module to be able to do this.

  • PSH flag

Hi, I want to generate traffic without PSH flag set in the traffic so that underlying TCP will handle it with normal priority, right now the traffic generate by trafclient is with PSH flag set. can you tell me where i can change this option. Thanks, Guri.

  • Payload >65535 accepted

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I can submit payloads exceeding 65535 bytes on the client. Tools such as more recent implementations of ping prohibit packets greater than this size since some systems are vulnerable to PoD. Shawn Iverson shawn@nccsc.k12.in.us.

  • Settings retention

It would be nice if the previous settings used on the client could be saved. It may also be beneficial to provide a drop down list of recently used IP addresses. Shawn Iverson shawn@nccsc.k12.in.us.

  • Traffic Client Crashes

It appears that the Traffic Client crashes when it is stopped before the server is stopped on a machine running Windows XP SP2 with Firewall enabled. However, stopping the server first results in the client being able to be stopped gracefully. Shawn Iverson shawn@nccsc.k12.in.us.

  • The Windows GUI does not correctly verify payload size

For the random payload, the minimum and maximum payload size should at least be 8. This is not properly verified in the Windows GUI. This leads to a crash in the Windows GUI if a payload size of less than 8 is specified.
