This is a repeat of CVSNT bug 5010.
http://customer.march-hare.com/webtools/bugzilla/ttshow_bug.cgi?id=5010&tt=1
Tony has deliberately removed the 'triggers' stuff from 2.5.05 client install (just like he did in 2.5.04 client installer) because it's supposed to be a client not a server, and :local: is a server protocol not a client protocol.
I think the only way to resolve this is for...

This should be resolved when TortoiseCVS 1.12 includes the latest CVSNT 2.5.05 Build 3649 (RC1) and you set the registry key:
http://www.cvsnt.org/pipermail/cvsnt/2009-December/032461.html.

1. illegible
I'd like to know if the latest CVSNT 2.5.05 Build 3649 (RC1) would behave better for this person if it's launched 'native' ie: CreateProcess() with no parameters to 'hide' the windows.

2. yes/no
If msiexec is called with /qn then no user interaction is possible...

This should not happen, as TortoiseCVS now uses -M instead of -m if the CVSNT version supports it. Perhaps you need to clear the version cache?.

When committing something to a local repository, CVSNT is adding those lines to every log entry:
"Committed on the Free edition of March Hare Software CVSNT Server.
Upgrade to CVS Suite for more features and support:
http://march-hare.com/cvsnt/"
This is affecting virtually all TortoiseCVS versions since approx. end of 2008.

After a clean installation of a new machine, I get the following error
message when working on local repositories:
"Couldn't open default trigger library: No such file or directory"
This is a revival of Bug ID 1764797 - the client-only version of CVSNT is installed.

When installing TortoiseCVS-1.12.1-RC4, there will also be CVSNT installed. However, the install progress window of CVSNT is not readable. See screenshot.
Uninstalling is even worse, since I can't answer the question (Yes-No). No clue what it is asking me.

The link is correct. Your browser is probably misconfigured. Try to download the .chm file and open it in Windows Explorer.
Or just install TortoiseCVS and use the installed local copy.

Hi all,
I am novice here and since I tried to get idea what TortoiseCVS is I found that Internet site:
http://www.tortoisecvs.org/support.shtml
does not have link to help files..or if opened with Firefox it is nor readable. What can be wrong here ?
With IE goes up to the point where chm file is opened but there is nothing inside.

Milan.
