    Which version have you installed? I think that toMOTko-0.11.2-9 (fremantle) is already optified properly, otherwise it would not have been thumbed up 4 times here: http://maemo.org/packages/package_instance/view/fremantle_extras-testing_free_armel/tomotko/0.11.2-9/ Especially by Mikko Vartiainen, who had raised this issue before.

    Summary: tomotko uses to much space in root partition, should use /opt Content:After installing tomotko on my N900 it uses around 6 MB of space. There is very little empty space in the root partition of the N900.
