A procedure to install, configure, and test the Tomcat servlet container with Apache or IIS. Includes a preconfigured distribution of Tomcat with the IBM Jikes compiler, and links to useful open source tools and best practices for servlet development.
An installation package for Tomcat 4.1.x is on my to-do-list. For now, use the setup wizard. If you want to configure 4.1.30 to run behind IIS or Apache, the installation notes in the 3.2.4 package may be helpful.
