• Thetaworld MakeSite v0.92 is already functional

  The Thetaworld MakeSite is already functional piece of dirty software. It is not yet furnished for the end users, but it can be well used by web developers or Perl programmers with knowledge of PostgreSQL. It uses Gedafe <http://isg.ee.ethz.ch/tools/gedafe/> for the database management and dirty Perl reporting program to extract and publish web area. Many of our websites are already published by this same software. Features: * Generates completely static HTML pages * It can generate or publish also .php, .cgi pages or other dynamic pages or any type of files or pages * It has the built-in link directory similar to Yahoo. It is very possible to build big directories. Sample built with this software is here: <http://www.thetaworld.com.pa> * It has the built-in link checker for all links in the database and sample SQL report on verified links * Perfect for developing hole areas of web and many many structured pages with hierarchies * Virtual categories support, so that one category can point to another category * Virtual area support (not finished) so that you can publish one website under different company name and under different web domain * Targets and web server support, so it is possible to publish the same site to different domains or web servers * Built-in product management for e-commerce (reportin is not yet done) * Built-in suppliers table, so you can relate products to your dropshippers or suppliers. When you sell something, you know who has provided the product. * Built-in structured web pages, so you can make a web page with Table of Contents or construct FAQ pages or you can put several pages together on one page as summaries. * Text::Template -- include any variables you want in your pages.
