Description

The aim of the TilePort project is to port Linux software packages to the Tile-Gx architecture, and allow these RPMs to be freely used and redistributed.

The 2,000+ Linux software packages which are provided by the Tilera Corporation to its customers, although GPL-licensed, are made available only under a Non-Disclosure Agreement, which prohibits redistribution to any third party of the source code; which in effect (due to the GPL license) prevents distribution of the compiled binaries.

I am looking to port SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Service Pack 2 first to the Tile-Gx Architecture, and then possibly SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11 Service Pack 2.
