Operating system lockdown web application utility

The goal of this project is to create a self contained web application that can be deployed on a machine that will lock down client systems based on information gathered from sites such as the National Vulnerability Database, http://nvd.nist.gov/. Mostly to focus on applying recommended security settings and patch updates automatically as needed. There's plenty of scanners out there, but not many applicators!
