I have just installed the TeXnicCenter 2 alpha and I unselected the us dictionary during installation. When I then start TeXnicCenter I get an error that en_US.aff cannot be found.
Possible fix:
1. Make the US language option mandatory during install.

V2.0 Alpha: On Win XP (not yet tried on Win 7), defining extra text modules *seems* to work, but anything after the first two doesn't work. Press shift and rightclick on the texfile, choose open with, choose texniccenter, or browse to the texniccenter executable, clicl the box "remember the application" and thats it. From now on doubleclicking a tex file will open it with texniccenter.
